Forcelink selected by the Ethekwini (Durban) Metropolitan Council for the management of CCTV camera

Forcelink has been selected by eThekwini to manage their CCTV infrastructure and CCTV Control Centre. The new system will be used to manage the maintenance and repairs of camera infrastructure, including managing the supply chain processes and SLA’s for sub-contractors working on various parts of the CCTV infrastructure. This includes Control Centre equipment, camera masts, fibre communications network and wireless communications network. The Forcelink system will provide a high level of auditability on these critical assets, which are crucial to the municipality’s crime fighting and emergency response capability.
